Ladies, dont settle for the asshole: Give a nice guy a chance! Its known that most females tend to go for the assholes. Maybe its because we think we can be the 'one' to change them and make them better. Or maybe its just the thrill of the chase. Regardless, its important to be with someone who values you. I urge all of my girlfriends reading this blog, please just give a nice guy a chance. See what he has to offer you. Trust me when I say there are some genuinely nice guys out there, and not too far either lol. Surprise!! Not all men are dogs Sometimes i feel like the bulk of you truly don't know what it feels like to be appreciated. To have someone that not only cares about you, but shows you in his own way. And to have someone who appreciates when you show them how you care. Why call someone you fight with more often than you laugh with your 'significant other'? Isn't he supposed to make you happy?
When you love someone you want what is best for them. When you love yourself, its the same. Letting yourself be with a jerk isn't self love as far as i can see. And i always tell my friends, if you don't love yourself first, how can anyone else? Life is sweet and short. Don't waste precious time on someone who just isn't worth it. Think of it as a gift to yourself.
The younger you are, having less life experience, the harder it may be to resist the asshole. Maybe because your mind doesn't realize that he is what he is, an asshole. But when you come to realize that the guy is just a jerk, isn't it your responsibilty to do whats best for you? Clearly if he had your best interest at heart he wouldn't be called 'the asshole' in the first place.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice? shame on me.
So bring on the emotional shopping, time with the girls, and cartons of Ben&Jerry's ice cream!  It will be hard at first, but it isn't impossible. I promise.

 So today I had orientation at Hollister. It was okay the place is like crazy about loss prevention and people stealing, its intense. I had to buy a new outfit because apparently thats what they prefer. I dont like how there are legit like a million rules. No makeup, must wear grey, white, or dark blue, no piercings except minor studs in ears, no nail polish/french tips, clear polish, toenails can either be pink, red, french or natural, natural looking hairstyle, and the WORST part?! No multi-colored hair  So pretty much if it doesn't look like it's natural you can't have it. Which means I have the dye my blonde underneath my hair black...So depressing! I guess its not so bad for just the summer, i'm def going back to blonde when school starts. So to some up my summer? I'm working 2 jobs, my blonde hair will be gone, and my best friend is leaving me for Bangladesh... f.m.l.
